Lincoln cars: What's new for 2008

More features for MKZ

By Aaron Gold, About.com

MARK LT: Lincoln's pickup truck gets SIRIUS satellite radio as standard equipment and a new optional back-up camera.

MKX: Introduced last year, the MKX crossover SUV gets a host of new features, including heated and cooled front seats, reverse sensing system, memory seats and mirrors and power-adjustable lumbar support for both front seats -- all standard. New options include the new SYNC system (which allows voice control of iPod and Zune media players), a Limited Edition package (20" chrome wheels, ebony wood trim, and specially-trimmed premium leather seats), and a Monochrome Limited Edition package (everything in the Limited Edition package plus black paint and grille).

MKZ: Heated and cooled perforated leather seats and SIRIUS satellite radio, optional on last year's MKZ, are now standard, and the optional navigation system now includes voice activation. The Sync system, with Bluetooth phone and media connectivity, will join the MKZ's standard equipment list later in the model year.

TOWN CAR: No changes.

BEYOND 2008: A new flagship sedan, to be called the MKS, is expected to go on sale in mid-2008 as a 2009 model.
