CONFIRMED:

AVEO5: For 2009, the hatchback version of the Aveo will get an update similar to that seen on the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo sedan. Changes include revised styling, an improved 1.6 liter engine that puts out more power (107 hp) and gets better fuel economy, and an updated interior that offers more space than the current Aveo5.

CAMARO: It feels like we've been waiting for this car forever! The new Camaro coupe is expected to make its long-awaited debut in 2008 as a 2009 model, while the Camaro convertible will follow on in 2009 as a 2010 model.

CORVETTE ZR-1: The ZR-1 s the Corvette that Chevrolet says will take on Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche. The 2009 Corvette ZR1 features a 620 horsepower supercharged V8, huge carbon-ceramic brakes, and a specially-tuned magnetic-ride suspension. Performance and pricing have not been announced, but you can expect 0-60 in around three and a half seconds, 200+ MPH, and around $100k.

SILVERADO HYBRID: The dual-mode hybrid system, which made its debut in Chevrolet's full-size Tahoe SUV, will be available in the Silverado pickup starting in the 2009 model year.

TRAVERSE: The 2009 Traverse is Chevrolet's version of the GMC Acadia/Saturn Outlook/Buick Enclave crossovers. The Traverse will share the 7-seat layout of its platform-mates, but is expected to be priced lower.

VOLT: Chevrolet is running pedal-to-the-metal in an effort to get the Volt plug-in hybrid ready for a 2011 release.
