BORREGO: The 2009 Borrego SUV is Kia's answer to vehicles like the Toyota 4Runner and Ford Explorer. Available with a 3.8 liter V6 as well as Kia's first V8 engine (a 4.6 liter unit producing over 300 horsepower), the Borrego will be able to tow up to 7,500 lbs.
OPTIMA: Kia will attempt to give the Optima a badly-needed dose of appeal for 2009 with spruced-up styling inside and out and improved engines.
SOUL: Kia plans to introduce a production vehicle based on the boxy Soul CUV concept; look for it to debut in 2008 as a 2009 model.
